FoneFix is able to determine whether your Nokia or Samsung mobile phone is within its warranty period. However, if you have your proof of purchase please include it as it may be required if the fault proves to be with the phone's battery.
Both Nokia and Samsung provide a 24 month warranty on new handsets or 6 month warranty on accessories such as batteries.
The manufacturers warranty does not cover any fault that has occurred due to physical or liquid damage. Some examples of non-warranty faults include moisture damage, smashed LCD screens, damaged power switches or security lock codes.
If your phone is deemed to be beyond repair for any reason a £10.00 fee will be applied to cover the inspection fee plus £5.95
per phone for return postage.
90% of warranty repairs are carried out on site within 48 hours of receipt, or 24 hours with our optional £9.95 express repair service. If we are unable to repair your phone on site it
may be sent back to the manufacturer for repair or exchange. The average turnaround time for phones returned to
the manufacturer is 2 weeks.
- Liquid damage – this invalidates the manufacturers warranty and will deem your phone to be Beyond Economical Repair.
- Damaged printed circuit board - Often when a phone is dropped this can result in the PCB being bent. This type of damage renders the phone Beyond Economical Repair.
- Blacklisted Handsets - Mobile networks now have the ability to disable phones that have been reported lost or stolen. This means that the handset is blocked from all UK networks.
If your phone is deemed to be Beyond Repair for any of the above reasons a £10.00 fee will be applied to cover the inspection fee plus £5.95
per phone for return postage.
