In the Poppleton Boys Festival of Football Gala, held at Millfield Lane, York, the Hamilton Panthers Under 9’s team fought off tough competition to top the league and take the winner’s trophy.
The event held on Sunday the 13th May was a resounding success with over 72 teams from across the country competing in their age groups.
The Hamilton Panthers won an incredible eight out of nine games scoring a total of 47 goals to win division 2B of the mini soccer league.
